Scope of Work The Phase II construction works comprised: * Extension and alignment of the existing ring road to complete the loop around Abonnema * Excavation and backfilling to establish a stable substructure * Laying of stone base and asphaltic pavement to ensure durability and smooth driving surface * Construction of concrete drainages and culverts to facilitate proper stormwater discharge * Installation of pedestrian-friendly walkways, safety features, and road signs * Integration with surrounding access roads and feeder routes within the community

Description

The Construction of Abonnema Ring Road (Phase II) is a critical infrastructure project awarded to O. K. Isokariari Nigeria Limited by the Rivers State Government as part of ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility and regional connectivity in riverine communities. Located in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, the Abonnema Ring Road is a strategic route that encircles the historic town of Abonnema, easing intra-town movement, improving access to key locations, and supporting local economic activities. Phase II builds on the achievements of the initial phase, extending the road network and integrating additional infrastructure components for long-term functionality.
